Our Story

Our story began in 2013 with the vision of a young entrepreneur, Ramil Rzayev. Despite the fact that he started his academic career in Political Science and Management, he was deeply inspired by his commitment to Azerbaijan and its immense tourism potential. Driven by passion and determination, he and a few of his seatmates launched Baku Holiday Travel as a start-up, making significant sacrifices to turn their dream into reality in that odyssey.

Within a short period of time, successfully passing the start-up phase, BHT transformed from a small-budget company of a few people into a company that dominates incoming and outgoing tourism in Azerbaijan. 

Today, we are privileged to connect with thousands of customers every day not only in Azerbaijan but also globally, and we are on our way to becoming one of the prominent heavyweight travel companies on Earth.

For example, by digitalizing everything, we have reduced the amount of paperwork by up to 70% in the last two years. Through environmentally-friendly activities, waste minimization programs, and the encouragement of renewable resources, we aim to maintain the visual appeal and integrity of destinations featured in our highly-demanded tour packages. On the flip side, we endeavor to restore and protect local environments by supporting conservation initiatives that safeguard biodiversity and natural resources. And our main goal in the next 5 years is to try to realize this not only in Azerbaijan but all over the globe.

We believe that travel opportunities should be accessible to all, including our team. Our diversity, equity, and inclusion commitment compels us to employ a diverse workforce, offer training and mentorship programs, and support communities that have employment barriers. We actively collaborate with organizations to employ talented individuals, in particular, young people and those passionate about travel (nerds), helping them establish meaningful careers in the travel sector. So that they have a chance to learn the industry in a deeper and more fun way.

Since our founding in 2013, we have been proud to reshape the travel industry landscape both nationally and internationally. Over these 12 long years, the BHT family has achieved dozens of awards and honors. Although that does not mean that Baku Holiday Travel has reached its absolute potential or revels solely in such successes, consumed by sloth. We seek something greater: long-lasting success.

We started with just one language option (English) at the outset, and now we offer three language options (English, Russian, and Azerbaijani) on BAKUHOLIDAY.COM. As Baku Holiday Travel, we have already mentioned our mission to support, with our 13 years of experience, local tour agencies, in particular newbies in the field, and small companies in the Land of Fire. In line with this goal, we are jubilant to present our website, RMLHOLIDAYS.COM, as a means to help facilitate their activities, efforts, and healthy development. We would like our B2B partners' growth to run parallel to ours, and together we aim to make a substantial contribution to the world tourism industry.
