The UN Global Compact, launched in 2000 by the UN Secretary-General, offers a framework for creating more sustainable and responsible businesses. Bringing together 10,000 companies and 3,000 non-profit organizations from more than 160 countries, as well as more than 60 local networks, the UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative today. “By joining the UN Global Compact, Baku Holiday Travel (BHT) will make a greater contribution to the tourism sector, and we will apply the 10 principles of the agreement in the areas of environmental, social and corporate governance in our activities and strategies in a way that will benefit society,” said Ramil Rzayev, CEO of Baku Holiday Travel (BHT).
