INTOSAI Subcommittee Annual Meeting Successfully Held in Baku with Organizational Support from Baku Holiday Travel

The annual meeting of the INTOSAI Subcommittee on Financial Audit and Accounting, operating under the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), was held in Baku, hosted by the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan and organized with the support of Baku Holiday Travel.

During the event, Hilal Huseynov, auditor of the Chamber of Accounts, delivered a speech highlighting the impact of reforms in public sector accounting and reporting on the audit field, as well as the recent strategic directions of INTOSAI. He also provided participants with detailed information on the subcommittee’s ongoing projects and future plans.

The meeting continued with the participation and presentations of representatives from supreme audit institutions of the United Arab Emirates, Austria, the United States, and other countries. Discussions focused on recent changes in international financial audit standards, the implementation of new methodologies, and the challenges faced in their application.
