This program is not just about supporting new startup ideas; it's about strengthening regional cooperation. The role of digital technologies and sustainability principles in the development of the Baku tourism sector is growing rapidly. This program specifically promotes innovative solutions in these areas. Ramil Rzayev, Director of Baku Holiday Travel, spoke at the opening, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives for the ecosystem's development. On behalf of Baku Holiday Travel, he presented two startup projects with travel vouchers worth 1000 AZN each. These vouchers are intended to support young entrepreneurs in their business trips and international connections.
Collaborating with 39 partner organizations from 10 countries and 5 venture funds, this impressive program has the potential to transform Azerbaijan into a regional innovation hub. Within the program, 126 startup projects from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, and South Korea will participate in training and mentorship sessions. This means that new, creative ideas in digital tourism and other fields await us in the future.
Baku Holiday Travel is pleased to be part of this program and to support the entrepreneurs of the future. We believe that the "Green and Digital Silk Road" initiative will significantly contribute to strengthening Azerbaijan's startup ecosystem and its integration into global markets.
